Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Neuromodulators (a.k.a. “Anti-Wrinkle Injections”), are non-surgical cosmetic injections that work by temporarily relaxing the muscles responsible for wrinkles and fine lines in areas such as the forehead, around the eyes (crow’s feet), and between the eyebrows (glabellar lines). The procedure is minimally invasive with little downtime, making it a convenient option for those looking to refresh their appearance and reduce visible signs of aging.

  • Neuromodulators work by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles, making it ideal for dynamic lines such as forehead lines and crow’s feet.

On the other hand, fillers are used to build structure in the face, restore volume loss, and smooth out static wrinkles or folds caused by loss of collagen and fat.

While neuromodulators target muscle movement, fillers physically plump and reshape the treated area.

  • Absolutely! Combining these treatments allows for a more comprehensive approach to facial rejuvenation, addressing both dynamic wrinkles with neuromodulators and volume loss with fillers.

In some cases, we may recommend spacing the treatments to allow time for each product to settles.

Neuromodulators and dermal fillers provide different results but compliment each other wonderfully.

  • No, it is not recommended to have cosmetic injections while pregnant or breastfeeding due to the limited research on the safety and potential risks to both the mother and developing baby.

It’s best to postpone any cosmetic treatments until after pregnancy and breastfeeding.

  • Injectables can cause some discomfort, but most people describe the sensation as a quick pinch or slight sting rather than significant pain. The experience varies depending on the area being treated, the type of injectable, and individual pain tolerance. We use topical numbing creams, ice, and other tools to minimize any discomfort during the procedure.

Overall, injectables are generally well-tolerated, and the brief sensation is often outweighed by the desired aesthetic results.

  • We use Dysport and Nuceiva.

  • We use hyaluronic acid dermal fillers — Revanesse and Teoxane.
